Sad, Sympathy, Stupid

Watching Al-Jazeera tonite, saw the same old story on main news for the last 5 years..Iraq and the American occupation. My hard sank seeing the picture of a little boy bleeding all over his body being ushered away from a bomb site. Yep, another innocent soul bites the dust. I saw on TV how these so call Iraqi politician pouring their opinion on how the American had deceived them and failed to bring in democracy to the country. The American has only one interest and that is their self interest and not putting the plight of the Iraqi to actions..yes the cries of the Iraqi is unheard off by the American. I watched with disgust on how some of the Iraqi interviewed on tv accusing the American to bringing disaster and chaotic to Iraq. I watched with disgust when these people of all people should realised that no occupier is ever interested in the welfare of the people they occupied. These people of all people should realised the fact of being occupied, its just next door ..Palestine. I watched with disgust that these people even trust an outsider more than their own kind. I would imagine for a country with thousands years of civilization to know better than allowing their land being invaded by others, let it be good or bad reasons. These people of thousands years of civilization should know better that a bad Iraqi is better than a bad American. These people of all people should know that , they must stand tall to defend their land irrespective of how bad, cruel and ugly the top people..and yes these people of thousands years of civilization should know that they and they alone can make changes ...from inside the country..not other people, not from outside, not the American..who put their interest first ...perhaps what happened now serves the Iraqi right for being so stupid...hopefully they are strong enough to prevail for another thousands years...

Reflecting back to my my birth place, I hope the Malays realised that no matter how democratic they want to be, once you no longer the landlord of your own land, you will be worse off than a beggar, especially to the non Bumis. The bad news is that, there is no second chance..once gone its gone and you don't know what you got until its gone...
